A Good Weekend

Last Saturday I had an interesting and fun experience. I was a 'model' for a day haha. actually wat happened was tat the company selected 6 of us to do a photo shoot to be used for corporate branding, i.e. the company website and newsletters etc.

It was at an Aljunied studio near Geylang. It was a small one, but there were some nice photos of local celebrities displayed on the walls. Anyway we were instructed to bring formal wear and sports attire. The best thing was, they actually reimbursed us up to $100 for us to purchase sports wear! Hahahaha the minute i knew abt this, there was only 1 thing i wanted to get-the latest Man U home kit for this season. I had been considering getting it but wanted to wait a while more to see if the price wld drop. Now, since i cld get it for free, i didnt waste any time in getting one.

We started off taking group shots in our formal wear. It was the 1st time i ever did a photo shoot of this kind and i must say, its not as easy as it looks. especially the individual shots following the grp ones. To get the right expression, the photographer will try to make small talk and coax u into producing the rite expression and he wld just snap a pic at any time as long as the expression was rite.

It's not easy to achieve the desired expression though. Body posture, positioning and the position of yr hands and legs have to be correct. Plus, with the bright studio light shining straight at u, it only takes a while for u to feel warm and sweaty. Thankfully, i didnt take too long for my shots.

Next, i changed into my Man U kit and posed wif a soccer ball i had brought along. i did some simple juggling of the ball and the photographer took the best shots. the juggling was easy, but because i had to keep on repeating it for him to take a series of shots, at the end i was sweating profusely lol. nevertheless, i felt the pics looked really nice. I cant wait to see how the pics will look like after they are developed.

So tat was Sat. On Sun, it was the usual soccer at aljunied. had a gd time before returning home and catching man u's opening match of the season. we won 5-1! hahahha wat an awesome start. it helped that i won money on the match too lol. how we'll miss roon and scholesy for the next 3 matches bcos of the stoopid suspensions. but i'm sure we'll cope and do well.

So tat abt sums up my weekend. until the next time then folks!

limpeh's back. Had nothing much to write abt recently, so was MIA for a while. Anyway, in abt a week's time i'm gg to have a life again. Tats bcos the EPL is gonna resume! YEAH! and subsequently, the other european leagues will follow suit. another 10 months of action, drama, controversy and waiting to see how Jose and his useless team screw up.

I got a taste of wat's to come in yesterday's Community Shield match where Liverpool kicked the asses of Jose's Jabronies. Doesnt tat dumbass ever learn abt not shooting off his big mouth? obviously he must really like the taste of feet in his mouth.

Anyway, life in sch here is pretty much the same. nothing new or interesting worth mentioning abt, unless u include the daily calls to and from 'dad'. if u're reading this, pls wake up and do yr work and stop calling me unnecessarily. u're alrdy a chao n****r, still dun want to wake up yr idea. if i get any more calls fr u, then u better start checking yr email.

oh yeah, lastly, happy birthday to u Theo! May u get yr 1st game for Arsenal soon hahaha. all the best for the coming year Tiger Teo!
