Withdrawal Symptoms

Finally, after 1 whole month and 64 matches, the World Cup 2006 has drawn to a close. The champions turned out to be the men from the land of pasta, armani and the mafia. not many would have expected them to win it, but tats football. The BEST teams (Brazil) dun always win.

More importantly, I am experiencing withdrawal symptoms rite now, like many others i believe. after getting caught up in all the euphoria and excitement, now it seems like something is missing. I had alrdy settled into the routine of wake up, go to work, come back, watch soccer and sleep. its kinda weird knowing that there's nothing to look forward to when i go home now.

as for work, well its still pretty much the same. i'm still struggling to keep myself occupied. god knows when i will actually get some substantial stuff to do. i feel so restless sometimes. oh well, in the meantime i'll just try to get to know more of the teachers and see where i can help out.

oh ya, played some soccer on Sunday. I played with Theo and his frens. Mara also dropped by but he was rather unlucky cos when he arrived, it started raining heavily haha. it felt good to just be able to play some football although they had a different style of play compared to mine.
cant complain i guess. hopefully, we'll be able to get a couple more guys and form our own team.
