Him

Man U and Chelsea drew 1-1 last nite. Damn, i tot we were gg to win when saha scored. we really shd have sewn up the game by adding 1 more goal, but it was not to be. oh well, at least we still have that 3 point lead over those losers. the key will lie in beating the other teams and increasing the lead when chelsea drop points.

On another note, i sorta sprained my ankle yesterday while playing soccer. one of the guys just whacked my foot and my foot sort of jerked strongly in one direction. it's not unbearable, but it's still sore and i'm not sure how long it'll take to recover fully.

oh yeah, a few more days to the Batam trip. Looking forward to it, cos i think gg away for a couple of days will do me good. although it isn't exactly a holiday, but i think i'll enjoy it. I'll make sure i do hahaha.

Lately, i realise i got so many things that i wanna do, but yet i dun have enuff time to do them. lets see, i wana finish reading my comics, complete my FFXII, try Marvel Ultimate Alliance, play my FM, maybe try the new FM2007, and watch my DVDs. seems like i have a good reason to start clearing my leave lol.

Classical Moments

Wa Lau eh, can't believe Man U juz lost to Celtic yesterday. But no worries, it's not gg to be a repeat of last season. they'll definitely qualify this time. A rather busy period this is for me, but it's not bcos of sch work, but rather my agency's events. Maybe it wasnt such a gd idea to be part of so many committees lol. all those meetings even made me fall sick. guess i must be working too hard.

My fren Theo juz moved house recently and i was helping him last Sat. he came and picked me up then we went to Hougang for lunch. However, we only managed to have lunch abt an hr later. Why? Bcos the man left his key in the ignition after parking and locked his door as well. Genius rite hahaha. So after giving up the idea of smashing the window, we took a cab back to his shop in Katong to get the spare key and back to Hougang. All in an hr's work. I really had to earn my lunch tat day haha.

Oh and u know wat, apparently some pple dunno tat a laptop comes wif a monitor. yeah u read rite. I was telling Eugene Teo Sin Hoi tat i was gonna get a laptop soon and was describing the specs to him when he suddenly asked me, 'got free monitor or not?' What The! tat gives u an idea of how smart the man is huh. for me well, i'm not surprised. This aint the first time anyway. i'm expecting lots more of these kind of classical moments to occur in the future anyway hahahha

Lull Period

My sch is currently undergoing a lull period. And i seriously mean a lull period, even more lull than the one in army. Ever since sch closed officially, it's been like a day care centre here for me. I think a number of the teachers oso feel the same way hahahha.

How else do u explain that when i come in in the morning i see a group of them chatting in the canteen over coffee and tea, and 2 hrs later when i walk past i still see the same pple there? and of cos, by then its like alrdy 11 am. and since they knock off at 12, all they got to do is go back to the office and surf the net or listen to mp3 for another hr or so, and tada, they can call it a day. Shiok rite?

Just today, when it was nearing knock off time for the teachers, i was speaking to one of the teachers. I said, "Hey, leaving alrdy ah?" He said, "Ya, gg to JB for lunch." "JB!??" "Ya, gg wif some of the teachers" "Wa, U all damn happening ah" "Of cos hahaha" then he started dancing some silly dance to empahsise his point.

But u guys dun need to feel sorry for me. I have certainly not lost out to these teachers. By right, my working hrs are office hrs, but u'll be surprised at wat i can do during my time in sch. or outside. hahahha. for those of u who know, u get wat i mean. for the rest of u, just keep on working hard and ignore me lol.

Oh my, i got my eyes on another watch. its a bluetooth watch then i can connect to my phone. seems really cool. i hope they do launch it in spore. it wld be the perfect X'mas present.

Lastly, STOP CALLING ME AT WORK U CHAO N*****! u know who u are.

Golden Balls

I juz recalled this, so i'm writing it now cos i got some free time. For 3 consecutive Fridays last month, I was watching this Women's Futsal Tournament at a Sports Hall near my home. Just tot of sharing my thoughts and observations here.

there were surprises, both good and bad ones. the gd ones wld be that there were some truly gd female players, better than i expected, and also one team tat was way above the rest. the bad surprise wld be how some teams can play such naive futsal and expect to get anything out of it.

I mean, for gdness sake, when u have the ball and u want to pass the ball to yr teammate, and there is an opponent standing in front of u blocking the way, u DO NOT pass the ball towards the opponent and expect her to step out of the way and let the ball reach yr teammate. GET IT!???

Obviously, there were some teams who werent gd enuff to mount a challenge, for example one of the local university teams with a certain well known female player in their ranks. she stood out, but only because the rest of her teammates were crap. credit to her, she was better than the average female player, but it was not hard to find better players in the other teams.

oh and 1 thing, i highly suspect there were guys playing in some of the teams. I mean, some of the so called 'gals' looked 100% like a guy. No kidding man! And i suspect a number of them are actually filipino and indonesian maids who took time off to participate in the tournament hahaha.

but my personal favourite has to be this gal i nicknamed "Golden Balls". tat is not to say that she is anywhere as gd as david beckham, but because she really 'stood out' fr the crowd with her prominent errrm, part of her body. HAHAHA.

She has a peculiar way of running and even walking, which i can only describe as some sort of hop, which in turn only draws more attention to her headlamps. and the way she communicates with her coach and teammates, i concluded that she had to be some ditzy, bimbotic klutz. all that was lacking was the blond hair.

so even though the standard of futsal may not have been very high, but who said i didnt enjoy myself?

J

The school term is finally over and so now its the holidays for the students, except for the O'level students. So basically, sch is very quiet nowadays and the teachers only come to work for like half a day. it'll get even quieter when the teachers go on leave as well. i've experienced it before during the June holidays.

one gd thing is tat there'll be nobody arnd to supervise me or to give me work to do. so u can imagine how 'occupied' i will be. Looks like bringing my DVDs to sch will be essential. oh and i must definitely remember to buy a packet of my favourite 'gui chi' to enjoy during the movie.

watched death note recently. quite an interesting movie with an unusual concept. will definitely catch the 2nd part when it is released. i also want to catch the departed and gotta do it soon before it stops showing. oh ya lastly, i also received a pay rise recently. although it's not very much, it's still a good sign of encouragement to make me perform better.
